Poe by Jamia and Jordan



Edgar Allan Poe was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1809. His parents had separated and  his father abandoned him when he was 1 year old. His mother died from tuberculosis at age 24. Poe  had married many women and all of them passed from tuberculosis. One of his wives was his cousin Virginia. She was only 13 years old. Poe also wrote many short stories and poems that were about the afterlife and death.


Theories of death

Alcohol dehydrogenase (1984)
It's a group of enzymes that occur in many organisms and facilitate the crossing between alcohols. 


Rabies (1996)
Infects the central nervous system, ultimately causing disease in the brain and death, he could have gotten it from laying on the street.


Epilepsy (1999)
A brain disorder in which person has repeated seizures that causes changes in attention or behavior.
