Edgar Allen Poe death theory's
- beating (years after Poe's death we were lead to believe that the was beaten to death and he later died due to head trauma) parents.
- "totally deranged" (quote from the Edgar Allen Poe museum website) " Poe experienced hallucinations and was “totally deranged” for ten days shortly before his arrival in Richmond." I think this implies that he was experimenting with drugs and he may have over dosed.
- Poe had developed cholera (was drained of all fluids)
- Poe was in great distress (possible suicide)
