  1. The summer before 7th grade I read the Hunger Games. I thought that the Author was very good in describing the characters and how they fit into there surroundings. I liked the idea that the author had when reading it. In your mind you had a very vivid picture of what was happening. I would suggest this book to anybody who likes fast pace exciting books that will keep you interested. Also, if I had to place it under a genre it would have to be fantasy.

  2. I read the book, the Hunger Games. It was a really good book. It takes place in the future North America, called Panem. She volunteered to be a tribute when her little sister Prim is chosen. I read this book when I was in sixth grade. I couldn’t put this book down. This book along with the other two books in the series were really great. I would recommend this book to grades 5th and up. This book is really enjoyable, even my dad read it, but there is a lot of killing. Even though it’s not very descriptive, it may be too much for younger kids. This book is fantasy

  3. Abbey and Dominique your reviews of The Hunger Games are accurate. I found the book to have an edge to it that captures the reader. It is unimaginable on so many levels; that is what gives the book an edgy feel to the story. The descriptions are just enough to allow the reader to draw their own ideas and images. I agree, quite well done! Your reviews are thoughtful, I hope to read more reviews as posted!

  4. I am glad to see the two reviews on the Hunger Games. This is an interesting series for middle school. I agree that the author uses great descriptions of the characters and setting. The author captures the reader and this is a book very hard to put down. I am interested in hearing if you two continue reading the other books in the series and what you think of those.

    Nice reviews,
